Start with where you travel
Both services depend on cellular infrastructure. The first question is therefore whether either option provides dependable service across your normal campgrounds, highways and overnight stops. A small feature advantage is irrelevant if the service fails in the locations that matter most.
Compare total annual cost
Include device cost, monthly service, activation fees and any contract or pause rules. RVers with seasonal travel should pay particular attention to whether service can be paused or reduced during months when the rig is parked.
