RV Water Pressure Regulator Guide
Campground water pressure is not consistent. A regulator creates a controlled boundary between an unknown source and the plumbing inside your RV.

Pressure and flow are different
A regulator can reduce static pressure while also restricting flow. If a shower becomes weak after installation, the problem may be flow capacity rather than an unsafe pressure setting.
Adjustable units add control
An adjustable regulator with a gauge lets you tune output and observe pressure directly. Fixed regulators are simpler and can be appropriate when you prefer a set-and-forget approach.
Protect the whole inlet system
The regulator should be positioned so downstream hoses and RV plumbing do not see uncontrolled campground pressure. Inspect hoses and fittings regularly because pressure management cannot compensate for damaged components.
