What the Zion price range means

The cheapest and most expensive rows do not necessarily represent comparable campsites. This park-specific table can include different service levels, seasonal rates or RV-specific site classes. In the current Zion subset, the service labels represented are Non-hookup, Electric. A full-hookup or electric site should not be treated as the same product as a non-hookup campsite simply because both are sold by or within the same park unit.

Budgeting for a multi-night stay

At the current median tracked price of $35, three paid nights would be about $105 before entrance fees, taxes, reservation charges or optional services. Seven nights at that median would be about $245. Those are arithmetic planning examples, not quoted package prices; use the individual source links and live booking system for the dates you plan to travel.

Why the live booking price can differ

National-park camping is not one uniform product. Some campgrounds are operated directly by the National Park Service, others use concessionaires, and some have distinct electric or full-hookup rates. Seasonal openings, rehabilitation closures, reservation fees, taxes and site-length restrictions can also affect what is actually bookable. The database therefore records the published nightly fee and service class separately from availability.

How these Zion records were selected

RVVerdicts uses public National Park Service campground, fee and management pages. A row is included when the source provides a clear nightly price for an RV-eligible campground, a relevant campsite type or a defined seasonal/service tier. Group-only and hiker/biker-only products are excluded from the headline RV comparison. When one campground sells materially different RV products, those products remain separate rows instead of being blended into one artificial average.

Primary source coverage

This Zion subset is backed by 1 distinct NPS source page. Open the source link beside a campground row for the exact record used. The broader National Park RV Campground Price Database explains the cross-park methodology and service-level comparisons.

Use this page as a benchmark, not a reservation quote. Confirm the current campground status, site dimensions, taxes, fees and live nightly rate before travel.
